Our new phonemes this week are m, d, g. We have been blending to read and segmenting to spell words containing all the phonemes learnt so far.

The new phoneme cards will be added to your child's wallet on Thursday. You can use these cards to make simple CVC words for your child to read, such as mat, dig, sad. Also, try saying a word (e.g. pig) and ask your child to chop it up into the phonemes they can hear i.e. p - i - g.
