BREAKFAST CLUB

Breakfast Club is open from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. as and when parents request this facility. The children are given a snack of toast. Activities are available for all the children. The cost is available upon request. Children will be taken up to school at approximately 8:45 am, where they will be supervised until the start of the school day.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

After School Club runs from 3.30-5.30 p.m, children have a wide range of games and activities to choose from which include: art and crafts, occasional cooking, tabletop games, iPads, etc. We have a very popular pool table. Weather permitting, we go on the outdoor play area/MUGA or in the summer on the school playing field. As you can see there are lots of fun activities to do and the children love coming. The cost is available on request.

Here are a few of the children's comments:

Reception – “I can with play dough”

Year 1 – “there are loads of things to play and make that are fun”.

Year 2 - "Because I get to play with friends”.

Year 4 - "We can play fun games, I can do coloring, maths, and be with friends”.

Year 5 - "I can do lots of crafts and drawing”.

Year 6 - "there are lots of things to play and make which are fun”.

Here are a few of the parent’s comments:

“Fun-based learning, further educational benefits to the child, great for development and personality benefits”.

“Staff are Fantastic”.

“Both our children have attended WOOSC, so they’ve benefitted from this wonderful provision for over eight years. Children get to interact with friends in a warm and welcoming environment. They play both indoors (in the large village hall), have the opportunity to do Art and Craft, and play outside games (on the MUGA) and sometimes the adults, who run the club, encourage them to complete tasks to support learning like Mathletics. This provision is invaluable.”

“I know our son is always cared for well by the reliable small team at WOOSC, who I have got to know well. There is a great range of activities across the seasons and our son gets plenty of opportunities to go outside which is vital for children.”

“The booking process is easy and convenient, and I like that there is also a direct telephone for WOOSC.”

“Thanks to the WOOSC team for providing peace of mind and a caring environment to allow me to do my job around school hours.
