Suffixes

This half term we will be learning about suffixes

Suffixes are added to the end of a root word.

Unlike prefixes, when suffixes are added to a root word, the ending of the root word often changes.

Suffixes for this week are:

IBLE/ABLE - ENCE/ANCE - SION

CEW end of term assessment.

Following the assessment of CEWs last half term, children will receive an individual list of words they need to learn for the end of term assessment.

This assessment will take place in the week beginning 13/12/21 (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday).
