Spellings

In Year 2 we use the Red Rose Spellings Scheme which follows on from the Red Rose Phonics Scheme taught in Reception and Year 1.

Each half term, the children will bring home a plastic wallet with their spellings for the whole half term. These spellings can also be found on the pages below if you misplace the sheets. 

Common exception words are regularly repeated throughout the weeks. Practising spellings daily is crucial to learning.
