This half term in geography our topic is: 

What a Wonderful World

Children will learn about: 

• Name and locate the world’s seven continents and five oceans
• Understand how a journey can be made across the world
• Understand the location of hot and cold areas of the world
• Recognise landmarks

Children will develop the skills of: 

• Use world maps, atlases and globes
• Identify the equator, the north and the south pole
• Use knowledge of human and physical features to identify landmarks
