What is Pupil Premium funding?
The pupil premium was introduced in April 2011 and is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils to close the gap between them and their peers.
Who receives the Pupil Premium?
Pupil Premium is allocated to pupils from low income families who are registered for Free School Meals (FSM) or have been registered for FSM in the last six years. Grants are based on those pupils included in the school’s January census.
Pupl Premium Spend 2022/2023
In 2022/2023, £4155 of PP funding was provided for children eligible for the Pupil Premium with an additional £2000 of Recovery Premium funding. As in previous years, this funding is support the academic progress of all children with an emphasis on disadvantaged children.
Pupil Premium Spend 2021/2022
In 2021/2022, no pupils were eligible for the Pupil Premium at the time of the October 2021 Census. However, £2000 of Recovery Premium has been provided this academic year in quarterly instalments, to support academic progress of all children with an emphasis on disadvantaged children.
Pupil Premium Spend 2020/2021
In 2020/2021, no pupils were eligible for the Pupil Premium.
