Assessment

Statutory Assessments will take place for YEAR 6 during the week beginning 13th May 2024.

Assessments for YEAR 5 during the week beginning 24th June 2024.

 Assessments for science will take place at the end of half term.

Reading for Pleasure

Below you will find a list of authors and works that I would recommend year five and six children to read. These recommendations have been chosen to develop reading skills but also, and most importantly, because they are fun to read.

Government research has shown that reading for pleasure is important for educational and personal development.
