Assessment

End of term assessments for year 5&6 Mathematics, Reading, and Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar will take place during the week beginning 2/12/24

 Assessments for science will take place at the end of each half term.

Please see blended learning for date.

Statutory Assessments will take place for YEAR 6 during the week beginning 12th May 2025.

Reading for Pleasure

Below you will find a list of authors and works that I would recommend year five and six children to read. These recommendations have been chosen to develop reading skills but also, and most importantly, because they are fun to read.

Government research has shown that reading for pleasure is important for educational and personal development.
