Geography Unit:

Earthquakes

In this unit we will learn about the causes of earthquakes: tectonic plates and fault lines.

In addition, we will look in detail at: The Christchurch earthquake New Zealand, California and the San Andreas fault, and tsunamis in the Indian Ocean.

We will also study the effects of earthquake and how people adapt to life in earthquake zones.
