Our new phonemes this week are air, ure, er. We have also learnt to read the tricky words some and there.

The new phoneme cards and tricky words will be added to your child's wallet on Thursday. You can use these cards to make CVC words for your child to read, such as chair, cure, shower. Also, try saying a word (e.g. farmer) and ask your child to chop it up into the phonemes they can hear i.e. f - ar - m - er.
