Meet the Team

Miss Paul is the SENCO here at Whitechapel Primary School. She has been SENCO here for 7 years.

"I have always had a passion for special educational needs. I really enjoy researching new things and finding ways to break down barriers to learning for children. My role involves a lot of working with children, parents and external agencies to ensure children get the support they need."

Mrs Gnoyke is our inclusion support assistant here at Whitechapel. Previously Mrs Gnoyke worked as a classroom teaching assistant before moving into 1:1 and small group intervention in 2021

"I love my job! There's no better feeling than when a child leaves a one-to-one session with me with a spring in their step and smiling going back into class."

Miss Lawrenson joined Whitechapel in 2023 to work on a one-to-one basis with 2 different children who have EHCPs. She is an invaluable member of the team. Her role requires her to be flexible and adaptable every day.

"I enjoy getting to work with children on a 1:1 basis and in class supporting small groups. Helping children to access their learning is really rewarding."
