Animals including humans - Food Chains/Webs 

During this topic children will learn:

• Carnivores eat meat.
• Herbivores eat plants.
• Omnivores eat both meat and plants.
• Animals can be found around the globe in a variety of habitats and have adapted their habitats and diets to survive.
• A food chain is a simple path from producer to consumer but a food web shows how food chains intertwine.
