Reception 2024 Are you looking for a place for your child for September?

Visits to School are Welcome!

Choosing your child's first school can often be both an exciting and nervous time for parents.  You want to make the right choice for your child to ensure that they are happy and succeed in their learning.

Here at Whitechapel, we understand the importance of selecting the right school for your child.  We therefore provide a number of opportunities for you to visit school prior to making your selection with Lancashire County Council Admissions.

In the first instance, we recommend a visit to school during the day.  This enables you to see the teachers and children at work in all the classes.  You will meet with the headteacher Mrs Nicola Noblett, and have the opportunity to ask questions as well as receiving a tour of the school and grounds.

This year, we are providing a drop-in Open Evening on Tuesday 3rd October 2023(from 4:00-6:00pm).  On this evening, you will be able to meet with the EYFS Lead Mrs Elizabeth Howson and ask any further questions you may have regarding the provision we provide here at Whitechapel.

We look forward to meeting with you.

**Dates for your diary**

You can start applying for a place at school for September 2024 from the 1st September 2023.

However, school places are not allocated on a first come, first served basis. All applications received up to the closing date are given equal priority, but if you miss the deadline, a late application may reduce your chance of getting your preference of school.
